Meet the Team
Herbie began his journey as an integral part of the management team at Starters Sports Canada. He worked closely with the NFL, MLB, NHL and CFL. He then began to create his vast network of business contacts.
For the past 20 years, Herbie has been immersed in the luxury real estate world. He began as Vice President of the Reservation Centre, Director of Resort Real Estate Sales and Director of Tourist Rentals at Mont-Tremblant Intrawest.
He was one of the first brokers to join the Quebec division of Sotheby’s International Real Estate brokerage service and led the launch of the Sotheby’s office in Mont-Tremblant.
As a Sotheby’s International Chartered Real Estate Broker, Herbie has contributed to a series of record sales in Canada, including an estate of over 65,000 acres in the wild and the historic Château Montebello.
In 2020, he joined forces with two long-standing partners to found the real estate development consulting firm REL Realty Advisors.
Herbie represents the most demanding investors and homeowners in the Laurentians and Montreal, but his network of clients extends across Canada.
His motto is “work hard and live life to the fullest.”
Herbie spends his weeks in Montreal and weekends with his family in Mont-Tremblant. He enjoys skiing, golfing, water skiing, canoeing and kayaking and every year he drives his car at the Porsche Club of North America event at Circuit Mont-Tremblant.
Senior Market Analyst
Elliot is distinguished by the entrepreneurial approach he applies to his role. With project management experience in fashion, tourism and real estate, Elliot is now involved in developing and analyzing Herbie’s projects. He is currently completing his real estate broker certification.
He has studied Globalization at Oxford University and is currently studying Finance at John Molson School of Business.
Elliot grew up in Lac-Beauport where he learned to ski and eventually became an instructor. He spends his summer weekends by the lake enjoying water sports and magnificent sunsets.
Market Research Analyst
Pierre-Olivier uses his outgoing and charismatic personality to take on new projects and enlarge his connections. His analytical and opportunistic mindset has helped him gain experience via multiple roles in the Financial and Entertainment industries.
Currently completing his undergraduate degree at the John Molson School of Business, he studies Finance and Real Estate. For the past two years, he has been on the executive team of the Concordia Real-Estate Club, involved with the roles of Director of External Affairs & Co-President.
Pierre-Olivier took his first steps in an airplane and has been in love with traveling ever since. He is a sailor at heart, having owned a sailboat before purchasing his first car. You can call him any time of the day if you have an exciting adventure planned or a new real-estate project in mind.
Market Research Analyst
Theo studies economics at Concordia University and is currently completing the final year of his undergraduate degree.
Originally from a small town in New Hampshire - Theo has an inherent love for the outdoors and is just as comfortable camping on a mountain top as he is in a suit.
With a strong academic and corporate background in analytics, pitching, and operations, Theo has joined the Herbie team as a market research analyst.
Theo's interests range from game theory and market design to skiing and boxing. With a passion for adventure and an outgoing personality he is always ready to take on the next challenge.
Jing Yi Kwok
Having always been eager about real estate investment and development, Jing Yi’s role is at the intersection of estates buy & sell and the ever-growing Chinese market.
Having obtained a degree in accounting from McGill University, Jing Yi currently leads Herbie’s international business development with a particular focus on the Asian markets, merging strategy, sales and marketing. Through her endeavours, she hopes to foster Canada-China bilateral trades and business relationships.
As an outdoor enthusiast, Jing Yi takes pleasure in running and hiking around the province. While she is always on the lookout for her next adventure, she equally enjoys the calm and serenity of her yoga practice.
